How to get from Baku Airport to the city centre?
Flights from Aktau arrive at Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD). You can travel from the airport to central Baku by express bus H1 or taxi.
H1 express bus. The bus connects the airport with Koroglu metro station and the Central Railway Station near 28 May metro station. The journey to the city centre takes approximately 30 minutes. The service operates 24 hours a day. Check the airport website for the latest timetable and payment options.
Taxi. Official taxi services and ride-hailing services are available outside the airport terminals. Check the fare and pick-up point before starting your journey.

Flame Towers. Three skyscrapers on a hill overlooking the city, designed to resemble flames. They are particularly impressive in the evening when their architectural lighting is switched on.
Baku Boulevard. A waterfront promenade along the Caspian Sea, with walking paths, green spaces, cafés and views of the modern city.
Baku Crystal Hall. A concert and sports venue on the waterfront, built for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest. Its distinctive architecture and evening lighting make it an interesting landmark to visit.
